As a healthcare professional, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside data scientists. While many organizations have access to vast amounts of data, the challenge often lies in fully understanding how to apply it effectively. In some cases, management teams, especially those with little background in information technology, might not yet be familiar with how to fully leverage data for decision-making. This can create a disconnect between data’s potential insights and real-world application.

Understanding the technical side of data analysis would allow me to bridge this gap and better collaborate with data scientists. That’s why I completed The Complete SQL Bootcamp by Jose Portilla. It provided me with a solid foundation in SQL, and now I feel more confident in helping to translate data into actionable insights that improve patient care and organizational effectiveness.

To further deepen my knowledge, I’ve also enrolled in a new course: Python, MySQL, ChatGPT, and Tableau with Data Analysis Projects. I’m excited to continue learning and applying these skills to help improve healthcare organizations’ use of data.
