Every year, I set a list of goals. Some I accomplish while others get put on hold due to laziness. Learning the ukulele has been one of those lingering aspirations, and this year, I’ve decided it’s finally time to commit! No more letting it collect dust on my wall. In 2025, I will learn to play!

I bought my Lohanu Concert Size Bundle on Amazon back in 2019. As a guitarist, I figured picking up the ukulele would be an easy transition. I even subscribed to Yousician, which guides you through structured lessons with its gamified approach. But between work, school, and other responsibilities, my progress stalled before it ever took off.

My goal is simple. By the end of 2025, I want to confidently play many songs by Bruno Marz, like the song “Count on Me.” It’s the perfect campfire song, and I want to be able to pick up my ukulele and sing a song with friends by the campfire roasting marshmallows. To make it happen, I’m setting aside dedicated time each day. No more excuses!
